1.)
(Karl is chilling with his beverage in the foreground , Jack leaning and smiling behind. They are still in the cabin in the woods.)
KARL: Still got some hours left- What should we do?
2.)
(Jack has the look of lust.)
JACK: We're all alone... No one can hear us... Anything come to mind? ..So to speak.
3.)
(Karl doesn't notice the lust, gazing out the window, and peeves Jack with this foolery.)
KARL: We could take a lantern and have a walk around the lake.
JACK: (in an icy speech balloon) Yes. Splendid.
4.)
(Jack has a lantern and Karl a flashlight, and they are outside exploring the spooky darkness.)
JACK: I'm surprised you'd suggest this.
KARL: Why not? I'm always up for a spooky adventure. Well, not always, but often enough.
5.)
(Jack's expression is gentle and Karl's is slightly embarrassed.)
JACK: Maybe you haven't changed that much after all. We never did get to have a graveyard picnic.
KARL: Oh no, I really suggested that? I was such a tacky kid!
JACK: So you wouldn't want to?
6.)
(Karl wraps an arm around Jack romantically.)
KARL: Well... Not... um, un-ironically...
JACK: It's okay, I won't tell anyone how much of a goth you are.
KARL: Promise?
7.)
(As they walk along thus entwined, they do not notice a shadow creeping behind.)
JACK: But I think they already know-
KARL: Don't say that! |
