(In the muddy ground at night we can see a boot print.)

KARL: (from off-panel) Huh, that's strange.

(A wider shot, we can see the prints emerging from the water's edge.)

JACK: (from off-panel) Someone taking a swim?

KARL: (from off-panel) They're going out, not in...

3.)

(A low angle looking up at Jack and Karl, still out for their cold night stroll.)

KARL: Besides, who takes a swim in their boots?      Their... huge boots.

4.)

(Jack leads Karl away from the weird discovery toward a dock, taking him by the hand.)

JACK: A fish grew some legs, I dunno. C'mon!

5.)

(Sitting on the dock, Jack has removed his shoes and dangles his feet in the water. Karl is taking his off as well.)

KARL: Didn't expect this'd be how I'd spend my evening.     But it's nice.

6.)

(Karl's bare foot reveals the tattooed image of a fuzzy monster with a gendering bow on its smiling head.)

KARL: Except the bugs.

(Jack is wide eyed and smiling, trying to get a closer look, while sour-faced Karl restrains him with a hand.)

JACK: Wait- OH WOW! What did I just see-

KARL: I don't have to explain myself to the likes of you.  Shoona's cute, so I relate to her.

(Attempting to join Jack in dipping his feet, Karl recoils in physical shock.)

KARL: So y-COCKING FUCKBALLS THAT'S COLD!

(Now he's suddenly distracted by a bat swooping so close to his head.)

KARL: I can't believe you d--

(Karl is covering his head as bats swoop very close by, through the cloud of bugs about him. Jack is saddened.)

KARL: GAH! WHAT THE HELL!? NOT THIS AGAIN!

BAT: EEE!

11.)

(Jack holds Karl trying to reassure him, while Karl makes cranky baby face and still shields himself from nature.)

JACK: Aw, they're just eating the bugs for you!

KARL: Not... cool...

12.)

(A bat swoops near the top of the frame, Jack looks disappointed.)

BAT:EEE!

JACK: *sigh*   So... No Skinny-Dipping then?
