Jack and Tristan stared dumbfounded at the violence in front of them. Theodore swung Sarah around on the sword like an errant balloon in the wind. Finally Tristan spoke up in a small voice,
     "No...! Stop! You shouldn't be mean to ladies!"
Theodore slammed Sarah into a bureau for a moment so he could speak,
     "I believe 'she started it,' as the saying goes," he said before continuing his assault.

     Jack thought about taking Tristan up on his advice and bolting from the terrible scene. Tristan seemed rooted to the spot though, apparently wishing to help in some strange, impossible way. He noticed Jack looking to him and said tensely,
     "Jack, you have bad frands."
