      "Notes. You don't have to have a million contacts, just enough to stay fed." Vitus drove slowly and aimlessly, neither of them eager to go home yet.
      "I was never that great for studying. I'm not even sure what I should be remembering..." Jack read from his phone, “Ryder Lautrec, student at Harlan CC- find out his major, Charles something, if wife answers act like a telemarketer, Benjamin Ling, favorite position is--”
     Vitus waved his hand. “Tell me about it kid, try remembering preferred birth control methods, pointless and arcane as that is. ”

     "So," Jack said kicking his feet, "you're not gonna ask me to 'hit you as hard as I can' or something?"
     "Why would I say that?"
     "I heard that somewhere. Kind of a stupid idea, isn't it?"
     "Well, it wouldn't really bother me. At all I'm sure. Probably wouldn't even feel it. So, yeah, kind of pointless to even bother--"
     "Is part of vampire training to destroy all my self esteem?"
     "No. Why?"
     "..."

I've been film festing it up, another late night movie so another early morning comic! Tonight I saw Balada Triste de Trompeta, which is a psychotic, psychotic movie. Funny I should be working on the fun fair page after seeing a movie about demented clowns... Coincidence? Yes, completely.
Oh! And thanks to my sweetie for drawing the flashback and the Monkey Adventure panel. Way to go hon! I think he's the official Kingfisher Flashback artist now.

VITUS: Do you have any plans for the the evening?

JACK: Well, you probably don't want to go back to Powder...

VITUS: Ehh.. Right.

VITUS: Maybe it's time you learnt to fight.

JACK: Fight? So I can get some XP and gold coins?

VITUS: ..I have no idea what that means.

JACK: Not a Monkey Adventure fan? Anyway... hell why not.

VITUS: So where's a good place to--

JACK: Oooh, there!

VITUS: The Funfair?

JACK: I love levels like that! Battle on a roller coaster? That’s fun shit!

VITUS: ...you've got a strange world view, lad.

VITUS: Hmm... invitation enough I suppose.

JACK: God damn it.

BIRD (VITUS) : It’s not God’s fault you’re lolly-gagging.

JACK: Look! I’m a delicious sugar cube!
