    Jack tried to fix his Greyburn molested hair while the other vampires talked about something inscrutable. There was something incredibly unsettling about Francesca, though she was just sitting silently. Was it that Demetri had relatives? No... He probably meant 'sister' figuratively, like Vitus talked about Sombreta being a 'mother.'
    It dawned on him- she held completely still, unmoving and unblinking. In the company of other vampires she let herself act like a corpse with nothing of interest to hold her focus.
    "Oh god.. is that what I look like?!"
In which Demetri can't stand nerds.

     "Oh Avant? I used to be on the Avant team in my school days," Vitus said, trying to brighten the dark area of the audience he was seated in.
    "That says a lot." Demetri groaned and slumped next to the equally slumped and sulking Jack.
    "Avant is a very challenging game, it takes a lot of strategy."
    "Strategy doesn't pack a colosseum, now does it?" Demetri pouted.

HELEN: Hello hello my fellows! Let's begin~!

ELLEN: Greyburn rules tonight - child wins, mentor keeps her. -Due to... ehm, complaints.

JACK: So WHAT are we doing again?

DEMETRI: He didn't tell you? A game to choose the new member of the Circle. You are the first of four.

VITUS: I thought he wouldn't come if I told him. Um, sorry?

DEMETRI: Haha, smooth.

VITUS: Um, so what is the game?

DEMETRI: I've really no idea, but knowing Greyburn it should be --

AUBREY: Tonight~ the game is Avant!
