1.)
(Same discotheque as the last page, on a wall by the hall to the back door. Vitus is in the hall having a tense conversation with the tall lady he was pursuing in the last comic, Margot is eavesdropping from a bench just outside the hall. Disco lights roll across her and she smiles. The tall lady is shocked by something Vitus said. His arms are crossed and he looks dour.)
2.)
(The tall lady comes out of the hall, upset, alone. Margot does a quick pose of disinterest to avoid being caught.)
3.)
(Vitus emerges from the hall looking sad. Margot gets his attention.)
MARGOT: Ooh, tough luck, Tiger.
4.)
(Vitus acknowledges her, looking dopey. She is still sitting, looking up at him.)
VITUS: It's fair. I'm not great.
MARGOT: Mind if I ask?
VITUS: Eh.
5.)
(Margot rolls her eyes to the side and starts blowing his mind.)
MARGOT: Never mind. I'll just tell. You favor the big gals because they have more blood to drink, but you couldn't drink her blood, because...
6.)
(Vitus is still in dopey mode, Margot is looking at him again.)
VITUS: Anemia. I'm no good for people with sickness.
MARGOT: Lucky me, no blood ailments. Or is that lucky?
VITUS: Honestly..?
7.)
(Close up of Vitus's face. He looks thoroughly vexed.)
VITUS: I don't even know what to say to that.
8.)
(Flash forward to Margot's boudoir, still in the darkness of night. They are totally getting busy.)
9.)
(In the afterglow, they lay on the bed. Margot smokes the dope in a little cigarette holder while Vitus sucks blood from one of her fingers.)
VITUS: Mm... Earthy.
