The Kingfisher's artist, Kelly, laid on the floor in agony, the third ice cream truck of the hour whirred by clanking the same awful jingle. Children outside bounced around and played with noisy plastic toys.
"How am I supposed to be working on a proper goth-y comic with all this cheery bullshit going on!?"
Crawling to the computer, the artist's pale hand was touched by a sliver of piercing sunlight that escaped through the firmly closed blinds.
Crumpling, Kelly lamented fate and gurgled weakly, "Noooo my Wacom hand! I can surely only lay in a heap on the floor, the Kingfisher is doomed... UNLESS..." |

| Then the world was plunged into eternal night and everyone froze to death unless they were already dead, in which case they were encased in icy prisons until the world exploded. THE END! (NOTE: this comic is not canon.) |

Haha! Ah yes, the story behind this - I was lying on the floor in a summer induced rage coma, and Christopher made this to cheer me up.
