(Jack and Theodore sit on the edge of a dried up old fountain. Jack looks horrified at Theodore's story, Theodore looks sad.)

JACK: Omigod... Dragomir was the one..? It’s all so horrible!

THEODORE: Jack... I am leaving.

(Theodore looks melancholy.)

THEODORE: I tell you this tale, in hopes you will understand the danger you are in. I will go to Koromo once more, and gather allies.

(Theodore begs Jack, taking his hand.)

THEODORE: Please, come with me. I can protect you, and we will defeat these monsters.

(Jack looks away, Theodore looks desperate.)

THEODORE: What is it? What do those eyes tell me? Speak, please...

(Jack takes his hand away, Theodore looks shocked and crushed.)

(Theodore turns, closing his eyes sadly.)

THEODORE: I see.

(Jack tries to explain as Theodore leaves.)

(Theodore cries, holding his face.)

(Jack looks disturbed, sitting alone.)

(Vitus appears out of the side of a building, snatching bird Angela out of the air.)

MEANWHILE...

VITUS: Gotcha!

(Angela turns into human form, and babbles quickly, looking completely disheveled, hair and makeup askew.)

VITUS: Now what is going--

ANGELA: My greatest ally has betrayed me and joined that murderous villain in trying to destroy me! For power! He would rip my heart from my lonely chest! For my weakling strength he would slay me and leave me all alone in this cold dark world forever!
