(Jack jumps up on the killer again, knocking the axe out of his hand.)

JACK: Get away from him!

(From Jack's PoV we see Karl, who has improbably caught the killer's axe and is looking back over his shoulder.)

JACK: (from off panel) Karl, run! Drive away!

KARL: No! I'm not going-

3.)

(Close up of Jack, annoyed and with glass sticking out of his wounds. He is being grappled by the killer, but talking to Karl.)

JACK: You dumbass! Just GO!

4.)

(The killer elbows Jack in the chin while Karl looks on in the background, trying to gather his courage.)

JACK: OW!

5.)

(Karl clutches the axe with both hands, looking on the scene with wide-eyed fear.)

KARL: Stop!! Why- why do you care about kissing?!

(Karl squeezes his eyes shut, wielding the axe very weakly with inept form. Is he swinging it at all?)

KARL: Ahh!!

(Karl is shocked by unexpected sensations, eyes now wide.)

OFF PANEL SOUND: SHK

(The killer has gone all weird-eyed, with the bloody axe embedded in his forehead, piercing the mask.)

THE KILLER: It's ... ICKY
